“Despite the persistence of the sanitary crisis, 2021 has been a good year for the Framework Employment”, summarizes Gilles Gateau, Director General of the Association for Frameworks (APEC), in a statement: 269 100 executives have been recruited in cdi or cdd of one year and more in France, according to a balance sheet of the organization. It is only 4% less than the record number of 2019 (281,300), and especially 18% more than 2020 (228,700).

The balance of net creations of executives – the addition of recruitments and internal promotions, less resignation, redundancies and retirements – reached 63,500 in 2021, compared with 37,100 in 2020. However, disparities persist According to the chain: the insurance bank (+ 15%) or health-social action (+ 13%) exceeded their 2019 level, while the hospitality-restaurant-recreation (- 20%), the automotive industry -aeronautics (- 24%) or media communication (- 20%) are struggling to raise the head.

On themselves, the computer scientists represent nearly a quarter of the executive recruitments made in 2021. “Side side also we find a more favorable dynamic, assures Gilles Gateau, but far from the levels of inflation and without progress, a times again, in the reduction of women-men inequalities. “

Explosion of Learning

Indeed, in 2021, women executives earn another 15% less than men and are, however, in proportion, always less increased than men, reveals the balance sheet. As for the median salary for all executives, it amounts to 51,000 annual gross euros, compared with 50,000 in 2019 and 2020. The employment rate of young graduates is also close to its pre-crisis level: 82% Bac +5 of the 2020 promotion are in employment twelve months after leaving studies, compared to 69% for graduates in 2019.

This embellished is due to the difficulties of recruiting executives encountered by many companies, who are therefore less to turn to poorly experienced profiles, but especially to the explosion of learning: the young people who have followed a Curriculum alternating have an employment rate at six months of 80% (compared to 64% for other graduates). At twelve months, they are nearly nine out of ten to be employed, including three quarters in cdi.

The hiring salary of these young frameworks, however, appears as a black point: the crude media wage of Bac + 5 is 30,000 euros gross twelve months after graduation, which represents a fall of 6 % In two years. The association is also concerned about the meaning crisis faced by young executives: 20% of them see in their use a “Food Job”, and a third party feel that their work is not in line with their aspirations. .
