Under the spotlight in the parliamentary survey on the Capitol’s assault, in January 2021, this lawyer is married to the judge at the Supreme Court Clarence Thomas. A link that doubts the neutrality of which is supposed to show its husband.

It’s called Virginia, but everyone calls him Ginni. With his husband for thirty-five years, the Conservative Judge of the Supreme Court Clarence Thomas, the American attracts these eyes these days. At the end of March, to a gap day, the New York Times Magazine and the New Yorker devoted to the couple two long articles (which they did not collaborate). A few days earlier were revealed, as part of the Parliamentary Inquiry on the Capitol Assault of January 6, 2021, his enraged texts sent in November 2020 to the former Donald Trump cabinet director, Mark Meadows. She encouraged him to continue the battle against this “fraudulent” election and was very close to the conspiracy theses. It could very soon be called to testify before the Commission to explain itself to its role in events.
A fervent activist from the right tough
Professional activist, Ginni Thomas joined the Council for National Policy, an influence group of more than 400 members, since the 1980s, the Hard Right of Washington: we Find members of the Republican Party, but also Conservative Christians, TEA Party activists (this ultraconservative movement was born in the 2000s, in response to the presidency of Barack Obama) and Donald Trump supporters. At age 65, this professional activist is also Chairman de Groundswell, another group in which she meets, among other things, the former White House Advisor Steve Bannon. “When some are just talking, she acts,” said her businessman, became a figure of global straight extremes.
Donald Trump support unfeecting
Intrigued by the popularity of Thomas J. (“In some of my meetings, he is more applauded than me. What is this story?” Would it be surprised during his campaign), Donald Trump invites, end 2018, the couple with lunch at the White House. Strusing into the door ajarred and playing his many relationships, Ginni Thomas will try throughout his mandate to weigh to name his friends and allies to key posts. After the defeat of November 2020 and the riots of January 6, she casts all his forces into the battle to exempt the Trump administration, questioned by the Parliament’s commission of inquiry.
A “WOMAN of “suspected of influencing her husband
“Is Ginni Thomas a danger for the Supreme Court?”, asked, on March 31, New Yorker. In 2011, more than seventy democratic parliamentarians had asked her husband not to participate in the deliberations on the reform of the health system impulsed by Barack Obama, on the pretext that his wife had actively militated against. The right-hand militant of the latter raises the question of the supposed neutrality of the judges of the Supreme Court. Ginni Thomas has thus acknowledged participating in the walking on the Capitol of January 6 (before it degenerates) and, when the Supreme Court has been seized in order to decide on the issue of the Commission’s access to the archives of the House White, only one judge opposed: Clarence Thomas. Again, the Democrats asked for its setting up.
