Docused in Paris, it is processed by the Nanterre prosecution (Hauts-de-Seine), competent due to the place of the facts, said the prosecution.
This complaint was filed a little before the broadcast on Thursday evening on France 2, of the program “Investigation supplement”, in which several women overwhelm the former host, relating facts of sexual violence.
We hear Mathilde (the first name has been modified), at the origin of the new complaint, denounce a rape in the premises of TF1 in Boulogne-Billancourt in February 1995. I no longer had any reflex”, describes anonymously the complainant.
According to her, a few days later, “he caught me with the hair and approached my face of his sex. There, I was debated”. The complainant also filed a complaint for attempted rape, according to a source close to the file. Contacted by AFP, PPDA lawyer Jacqueline Laffont said he did not wish to react.
Several in progress
The PPDA affair had broken out in February 2021, when the writer and journalist Florence Porcel had filed a complaint, accusing the former presenter of having imposed a sexual intercourse in 2004 and a blowjob in 2009. A preliminary investigation had then been carried out for four months by the Nanterre prosecutor’s office, during which 23 women testified. The majority of the facts denounced being prescribed, the investigation had been classified without follow -up in June.
The complaint of PPDA at the place of M me porcel, for slanderous denunciation, had also been classified. At the end of November, M porcel had formed a civil party, in order to provoke the referral of a judge to investigate the non -prescribed facts that she denounces. The judicial information, opened in December 2021, follows its course.
A second rape investigation is also carried out in Nanterre, this time by prosecutor’s magistrates, for facts that appear prescribed.
For his part, the former animator filed a complaint on Tuesday with the constitution of civil party for slanderous denunciation against 16 women. He castigates the “batch of excess and drifts” of the #MeToo movement, according to passages published by Franceinfo.
