Archinstall provides dialogue ( guided ) and Automated operating modes. In dialogue mode, the user consistently asked questions that cover the basic settings and actions from installation guidelines . In automated mode, it is possible to use scripts for deploying typical configurations. The installer also supports installation profiles, for example, the profile “Desktop” for choosing a desktop (KDE, GNOSEME, AWESOME and installations of packages necessary for its operation, or the profiles “WebServer” and “Database” for the selection and installation of the filling of web servers and the DBMS.
