The ultra-popular rock band Foo Fighters announced, Friday, March 25 in the evening, the death of his long-standing drummer Taylor Hawkins at the age of 50. No details on the circumstances of his death is revealed in the group Twitter message, published on a black background.
“The Foo Fighters’ family is devastated by the tragic and premature death of our beloved Taylor Hawkins”, is he written. “His musical spirit and his contagious laugh will live with us all forever”, is he added.
“Our thoughts go to his wife, his children and his family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with greatest respect in this incredibly difficult period,” concludes the message. Taylor Hawkins leaves in mourning his Alison wife and their three children.
The group was barely shot in South America. After playing Mexico, Chile and Argentina, he had to happen this Friday in Colombia, and Sunday in Brazil.

He played in the small group of Southern California, Sylvia, before winning his first major concert as drummer of the Canadian singer Sass Jordan.
He then spent the mid-1990s as a tour drummer for Alanis Morissette, another Canadian singer, before Dave Grohl asked him to join the Foo Fighters., Due to his very dynamic and powerful style. This is the second time Grohl saw the death of a member of the group, with that of the Grunge icon of the 1990s, Kurt Cobain, the singer of Nirvana, in 1994.
