A hundred recruitments
In a hall of the rectorate of Toulouse, furnished by a dozen offices in front of which the disciplines are listed on a sheet of paper, they were 400 to present, on March 24. At stake: a hundred contracts from contract teachers to be filled in colleges and high schools of the Toulouse Academy, which enrolls 190,000 students and employs 18,000 teachers in the second degree on the eight departments of the former administrative region Midi-Pyrenees.
“This operation, unpublished, is part of a particular context,” explains Mostafa Fourar, the rector of the Academy. “We are competing with companies that recruit. The demand is very strong. So we had this idea to be a pool of people, recruited to Bac + 3, and even at Bac + 2 after examination of the candidatures, for Replace, at the beginning of the school year, retired and sick leave teachers but also to respond to immediate needs. “
