published Project release NSCDE 2.1 (Not So Common Desktop Environment), developing a desktop environment with a CDE retro interface (Common Desktop Environment), adapted for use on modern UNIX-like systems and Linux. The environment is based on the window manager fvwm with the theme of design, applications, patches and superstructures to recreate the original desktop CDE. Project code extends under the GPLV3 license. Add-in written on Python and Shell. The installation packages are formed for Fedora, OpenSuse, Debian and Ubuntu.
The purpose of the project is to provide a comfortable and convenient Surroundings for retro-style lovers supporting modern technologies and non-discomfort due to lack of functionality. To give the CDE user-defined user application applications for XT, XAW, Motif, GTK2, GTK3 and QT5, allowing you to stylize under the retro interface for the design of most programs using X11.
