The two French media are accused by Bamako of “false allegations” after having denounced the abuses committed by the Malian army.

The Malian junta ordered, in the night of Wednesday, March 16 to Thursday, the suspension of the diffusion of RFI and France 24 in Mali, according to her, of “false allegations” of abuses committed by the army Malian and reported by the two French media, the government indicated in a statement.
The Government of Malian “categorically rejects these false allegations against valiant Fama” and “engages a procedure (…) to suspend until further notice the diffusion of RFI (…) and France 24”, specifies the communiqué signed by Colonel Abdoulaye Maiga, spokesperson for the government, and transmitted to AFP. The emissions of both media continued on Thursday morning, AFP noted.
