Release Distribution for Home Cinema Libreelec 10.0.2

is presented the release of the project LIBREELEC 10.0.2 , developing a fork distribution for creating home theaters OpenElec . The user interface is based on the KODI media center. Using LIBREELEC, you can turn any computer into a media center, working with which is not more difficult than with a DVD player or a telecase. The basic principle of the distribution “Everything is simple works”, to obtain a completely ready-made surroundings, it is enough just to download the libreelec from the Flash-drive. The user does not need to take care of maintaining the system up to date – the distribution is used in the automatic download and installation of updates activated when connected to the global network. It is possible to expand the functionality of the distribution through the system of additions, which are installed from a separate repository developed by the project developers.

Distribution does not use the batch base of other distributions and is based on own developments . In addition to the staff of KODI, the distribution is provided by a number of additional functions aimed at maximizing work simplification. For example, a special configuration supplement develops, which allows you to configure network connection settings, manage the parameters of LCD screens, allow or prohibit the automatic installation of updates. Opportunities are also provided as using the remote control (control of both infrared port and via Bluetooth), organizing sharing files (embedded in the Samba server), the built-in BitTorrent client TRANSMISSION, automatic search and connecting local and external drives.
