It was one of the voices that were easily recognized among hundreds of others without ever seen the face of his author, the comedian, theater actor and films, telefilms and television series Dominique Paturel. He died on February 28, in Saint-Brieuc, at the age of 90.
Last of a family of four children, he was born on April 3, 1931 in Le Havre, where he continues his schooling at the institution Saint-Joseph. He tries to the theater, plays in two rooms, and that’s where he is seized by the show virus. Theater on television

But it is by doubling Larry Hagman (the pitiless oil magnum, J.R. ewing) in the Dallas series that he acquires great notoriety. He doubled it from 1978 to 1991 in 357 episodes. Later, in 2008, he was the voice of Reverend Green (Bill Smitrovich) in Desperate Housewives. More recently, he found JR’s character in the new Dallas series, in 2012.
