After more than a year of development Published New Issue of the operating system Dahliaos 220222 , combining technology from GNU / Linux and fuchsia . The project’s work is written in the Dart language and distributed under the APACHE 2.0 license. Build Dahliaos are formed in two versions – for systems with UEFI (675 MB) and old systems / virtual machines (437 MB ). The basic distribution of Dahliaos is collected on the basis of the Linux kernel and the System System Surroundings of the GNU. The project develops its own user shell Pangolin written in DART language using Freasonwork Flutter. The shell supports both classic multi-plate mode and mosaic layout of windows. The basis of the project is used as the basis of the project Capybara and its own windows control system written from scratch. The shell can run in systems with the Linux core and a Zircon microkermer developed by Fuchsia project. To evaluate the work of Pangolin shell without installing DahliaOS prepared Web version , which works in browsers based on Chromium.
DahliaOS is also developed by Application set , most of which are written on Dart And Flutter. Among the developed programs: File Manager, Configurator, Text Editor, Terminal Emulator, Virtual Machine Control and Containers, Multimedia Player, Application Calculator, Calculator, Web Browser and Messaging Program
To run third-party programs, the Pangolin environment offers built-in support for isolated containers in which any DahliaOS application can be launched. For systems with UEFI, the system-recovery , allowing you to automatically load the fresh image of DahliaOS automatically load in case of problems with the system and boot with Its use.
