In the State Space Scientific and Production Center named after M. V. Khrunichev (Roscosmos State Corporation) was prepared for the shipment of Proton-M Baikonur rocket, designed to launch a Russian-European automatic interplanetary station EXOMARS 2022 to Mars.
According to him, together with a missile on Baikonur in early March, it is planned to send an overclocking block “Breeze M” and a head fairing for the EXOMARS 2022 mission.
Run to Marsa of the EXOMARS 2022 automatic interplanetary station, created as part of the joint project of the Roskosmos State Corporation and the European Space Agency, is planned from September 20 to October 1, 2022. The station consists of a European fleeting module, a Russian landing module with the landing platform “Cossack” and the European Marshode “Rosalind Franklin”. Landing “Cossack” with “Rosalind Franklin” on the Red Planet is expected in June 2023.
