On Thursday, February 17, 2022, a freight ship “Progress MS-19” has been successfully dashed to the International Space Station with more than 2,500 kg of healthy goods on board. These include six ultra-low spacecraft “UZGU-55”, developed by specialists of the South-West State University as part of the Scientific and Educational Project of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S. P. Queen (part of the state corporation “Roskosmos”).
The next party of the CDSA-55 microsatellites of the KubSat number 5-10 should ensure the continuation of the fifth stage of the long-term Space Experiment “Radioskaf”. It is designed to work out technologies for creating ultra-low satellites, their scientific and service equipment, as well as conducting light-design tests in an autonomous flight with the transfer of scientific data and photographic images of the earth’s surface. General coordination of technical solutions, production of working instructions and methods of experiment, organization of land training and pre-training, delivery of satellites to the ISS on board the cargo ships and the launch of Kazatov in the process of extracurricular activities of astronauts are carried out by the relevant Energy RCC services in order to support new engineering personnel in the field of Satentitences with a prospect of deploying an intellectual grouping of ultra-low Russian spacecraft at an near-earth orbit.
