“There is an agreement on having to continue the dialogue at the level of ministers [foreign affairs],” said the Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitri Peskov. However, “talking about concrete plans of summit organization is premature,” he said.

“A meeting is possible if the heads of state [Russian and American] deem it useful,” he, however, added, belonging that MM. Biden and Putin always had the opportunity, “when it’s necessary,” to talk to each other “on the phone or other way”.

Russian President must chair, Monday, half a meeting of his security council, powerful organization that brings together the key Russian decision-makers, including the leaders of the army and intelligence services.

“The situation remains extremely tense” on the front

The Kremlin also pointed out that the “Situation Rest” extremely tense “on the Eastern Front Ukrainian, between the Ukrainian forces and Prorusses separatists, supported by Moscow. “This is disturbing,” said Peskov, whose country makes Ukraine responsible for the worsening of the situation on the ground, accusing him of wanting to commit a “genocide” of Russian-speaking populations.

The Westerners see Moscow’s hand behind the intensification of fighting for several days on the front line and fear that it does not serve as a pretext for Russia, which massaged 150,000 soldiers with Ukrainian borders, to launch an attack massive against its pro-western neighbor.
