Two conditional crews accompanied by a test and training team of the cosmonaut preparation of Yu. A. Gagarin arrived at Baikonur to participate in training in the actions of astronauts after landing in the steppe in winter.
The proposed circumstances are the same as with other tests associated with “survival”: the descent apparatus lands in an uncountable point, astronauts must be contacted with rescuers and waiting for evacuation to do everything possible to preserve strength and health.
As part of the first conditional crew: Oleg Platonov, Konstantin Borisov, Dmitry Zakhotenko (instructor CPC). As part of the second – Sergey Mikaev, Alexey Zubritsky, Alexander Gorbunov. Last summer, the cosmonauts testing of the 2018 tests were saved from the heat in the desert of Kazakhstan, and now they have to be protected from cold and wind.
Before training for all participants, theoretical and practical classes are carried out on the ground. The next day, after this, the first conditional crew passes a medical examination, instructing, communicating with a psychologist and, a little rest, proceeds to perform the tasks set in front of him. Training lasts almost two days, the crew will spend two nights in the steppe, where the shelter will serve as a descent device. Cosmonauts will also have an emergency stock
After the first conditional crew completes the training, a second conditional crew will begin to perform similar tasks. In general, tests and accompanying activities will take a little less than two weeks.
