EDF announced, Friday, February 18, an “action plan” to cope with its difficulties, with a capital increase project of about 2.5 billion euros and a plan of disposals of 3 billions of euros in total until 2024.
The group, detained at almost 84% by the State, has seen its net profit multiplied by eight last year, at 5.1 billion euros, but warned that it would be heavily affected this year by nuclear production in Bern and the government measures to limit the rise in electricity bills.
