Nordahl Lelandais was sentenced, Friday, February 18, to the perpetuity with a 22-year security sentence, for the kidnapping and murder of Maëlys de Araujo, at a wedding party in August 2017. Sentenced last year to 20 years in prison for the murder of Corporal Arthur Noyer, in April 2017, the former master dog was also judged for sexual assaults against two small cousins of 4 and 6 years old, during the same summer 2017. The Court followed the requisitions of the Advocate General, who described the accused of “absolute social hazard”.
During the debates, Nordahl Lelandais delivered fluctuating versions about the disappearance of the girl, varying in particular on the circumstances of the removal of his victim.
