At the end of December, the government identified at least 192,000 false sanitary passes – from a vaccinal pass – in France. As many people reluctant to vaccination that could hesitate to change their minds for fear of being pursued for detention and use of false documents.

The Law strengthening management tools of the health crisis voted at the end of January provides for a procedure for the “repentis”: under this text, persons with a false pass will not be imposed if they are injected a first dose of vaccine within thirty days of the Offense Commission.

a message transmitted To all health professionals by the Directorate General of Health (DGS) Monday 14 February, specifies the implementation of this law. It is written that the holders of a false vaccination passing passing to be vaccinated may appear in a vaccination center when they wish, including within a period of more than thirty days, without risk of prosecution.

The center will then “cancel the fraudulent vaccinal cycle” and “the recording of the new vaccinal cycle” without “checking the period of thirty days” or “inform the forces of the order”, according to Recommendations of the DGS document.

Pondible of five years imprisonment

The holding of a false pass is now punishable by five years imprisonment and € 75,000. Present a pass belonging to others or transmit to another pass for fraudulent use is punished with a lump sum fine of 1,000 euros, compared to 135 euros before the vote of the law strengthening the management tools of the health crisis.

The period of thirty days does not establish the law worth of infringement noted: “Public action for the application of sentences” is “extinguished” if the holder of the false pass may justify to have been administered a first dose within that period.
