Release available UchmViewer 8.2 , forka KchmViewer , programs to view files in CHM formats (MS HTML HELP) and EPUB. Release adds KDE Framework 5 support instead of KDE4 and QT6 initial support instead of QT4. The branch is distinguished by the inclusion of some improvements that did not fall and most likely fall into the main composition of KchmViewer. The code is written in C ++ and is supplied under the license GPLv3.
Main changes:
- forc renamed UchmViewer. The code check for updates is also deleted.
- discontinued QT4 and KDE4 support in the main branch. The code specific to QT4 was removed.
- Added support for KDE Framework 5 using KDELIBS4Support.
- Added QT6 limited support. The application is collected from QT 6.2, but for this I had to turn off printing and searching on the page, as well as rely on default settings when viewing pages.
- Added use_dbus option in the CMAKE assembly script. The option allows you to enable / disable an assembly with D-BUS on any platform where this technology is available. Previously, the assembly with D-BUS was supported only in Linux.
