Ust-Katavsky Carriage Plant (VHFs, is included in the state corporation “Roskosmos”) produced the 500th tram car of the popular 71-623 series. Last Saturday, February 12, 2022, a significant event occurred at the IRSD – from the factory, the anniversary 500th partially low-voltage tram of the 71-623 series was left. The car was sent to the city of Novokuznetsk.
VVD produces the tram cars of this series since 2009. Currently, this is the most-selling model of the enterprise. These wagons are suitable for all cities regardless of the state of the rail coating and cause constant interest. The model is very in demand including due to amenities in operation.
Our experience shows that it is optimally produced by both 100% low-flood and partially low-level rolling stock. Simple, convenient and reliable cars in operation have long established itself in the market and are in demand among Russian cities, “said the Director-General of IVD Roman Novikov.
Completion of new models of model 71-623-04 provides places for low-friendly passengers and passengers with children, air conditioning system with climate control function, LED running line in the cabin, availability of equipment for wireless Internet access using Wi-Fi technology , USB connectors for charging mobile devices, passenger traffic sensors, video surveillance system in the cabin, various elements of anti-vandal interiors of the car, as well as other options that meet all modern requirements in terms of reliability, safety and comfort.
