Silent, Nicolas Sarkozy is desired by his camp who hopes for a tender word towards the party candidate the Republicans (LR) in the presidential election, Valérie Pécresse. The entourage of Emmanuel Macron, hopes that the former head of state, which is cited in several cases and has been twice sentenced at first instance – in that of the spears and in that of the campaign accounts in 2012 -, will maintain, with regard to the future candidate for his re-election, this “caring neutrality”. The second, inside, greets “a great voice of the Gaullist and liberal right. (…) A sincere man who objectively looks at the interest of France beyond small partisan calculations”.
