In the period from 1 to 6 February 2022, the enterprises of the state corporation “Roscosmos” produced 197 tons of liquid oxygen for medical institutions in order to combat COVID-19 coronavirus infection, of which 176 tons were already delivered to interested organizations.
Since the beginning of 2020, 37,340 tons of liquid oxygen have been shipped by enterprises of the industry for this purpose.
Supply for medical facilities is carried out by the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant (Krasnoyarsk), Scientific Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Lower Salda), Center for Objects of Ground Space Infrastructure (Moscow), Design Bureau of Himavtomatics (Voronezh) and Scientific and Test Center for Rocket and Space Industry (Peresvet).
