The French economy, fueled by a growth rate of 7%, created nearly 650,000 jobs in 2021, according to INSEE. A figure that places the level of employment in the country at 1.5% (nearly 300,000 jobs) above the end of 2019, before the CVIV-19 crisis.

The job returns with its pre-crisis level. The private sector recorded 648,200 net features of positions over one year at the end of the year 2021 (+ 3.3%), exceeding 1.5% its preliminary crisis, at the end of 2019, according to the Provisional estimate published Friday, February 4th by INSEE .
In the last quarter, salaried employment increased by 0.5% (+ 106,700), as in the previous quarter, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies.
