On the back of tensions with Russia, US President Joe Biden will send military reinforcements in Eastern Europe in support of NATO forces, announced, Wednesday 2 February, the spokesman for the Pentagon, John Kirby.
A thousand of these soldiers will be redeployed from Germany to Romania, and 2,000 others will be sent from the great American base of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to Germany and Poland.
m. Kirby said these movements were “not permanent” but also warned that there could be others if necessary. He pointed out that “these forces (would not go) in Ukraine”.
