President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev called the events occurring in the republic the most difficult crisis for the entire period of independence. He stated this at an extraordinary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, the broadcast of which is available on the YouTube channel “Channel Khabar 24”.
“For several January days, Kazakhstan survived a large-scale crisis. He became the most difficult in the entire 30-year history of independence. With a real threat of such a level, our organization as a whole was faced,” Tokaev said.
According to him, all events from the beginning of January “make up the links of one chain.”
