Sirens in the Kazakh city of Alma-Ata were notified by the locals about the beginning of the Commandant hour. It is reported by Telegram-channel “Sputnik Kazakhstan”.

It is known that the curfew in the cities of the Almaty region is set from 20 pm to seven in the morning. Local authorities asked residents not to leave their homes and keep calm. The local Telegram channel ORDA clarifies that the curfew in Alma-Ata is valid from 23 to 7 hours.

According to media reports, three sirens and three ineffective alerts sounded in Almaty. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs could not comment on the information.
