Samarin stressed that the construction time of the ships “Vladimir Andreev” and “Vasily Torushin” adjusted, taking into account their modernization. According to him, talking about the factory running tests of these BDK prematurely.

Earlier, the source in the shipbuilding industry said that the project ships 11711 will be able to bear a large number of marine mines. This will allow the BDC to perform the tasks of mine barrels.

The Naval Fleet (Navy) of Russia includes two projects of the project 11711. Full displacement of the BDK exceeds six thousand tons. The ship can transport up to 36 units of armored vehicles.
