Chancellor Austria Karl Nehammer confirmed the intention of the country’s government to introduce compulsory vaccination from COVID-19 in February 2022. He stated this in an interview to the Austrian Print Agency.
The head of Austria added that after some modifications, the bill will soon be presented in the final version.
“Serious objections will now be considered and, if necessary, included. From my point of view, the need for mandatory vaccination does not cause doubts,” said Nehammer.
The Austrian government has previously reported on the plan for introducing mandatory vaccination from coronavirus since February 2022. This caused mass actions of a protest civil society against forced vaccination.
