“Despite the fact that the manufacturers have been trying to reduce the cost of price for two years, the prerequisites for lower prices today, unfortunately, no,” he said. Leonov added that the last two years due to a pandemic can be called force majeure for production. In addition, the cost of raw materials, logistics, packaging, and some supplies have occurred.
He believes that the main task is to ensure the availability of products and not destroy the business. Deputy chairman “RSpectrodSonus” proposes to introduce targeted material assistance for the least secured Russians. In his opinion, this form of support (in contrast to price regulation) is much less distorting healthy market relations.
Previously, the Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko declared the impossibility of controlling the authorities for prices in modern Russia and rejected such an approach. According to her, the active intervention of the state in the pricing of individual categories of goods and the regulation of their value can lead to a deficit and replacement of Russian products imported.
