At the technical complex of the site No. 254 of the Baikonur cosmodrome, the work on the deconsisation and preparation of the piloted ship “Union MS-21” was completed to the final stage of the ground test program. Today, on January 14, 2021, the installation and test corps held a decollection of the piloted ship “Union of MS-21”, which was in storage mode from December 7, 2021.
After installing the ship to the stock specialists of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S.P. Queen (part of the state corporation “Roskosmos”) conducted an external inspection of the product and control of the original state of the on-board systems, connected terrestrial test equipment, completed the testing scheme and verification of the service equipment. The work plan for the near future provides for comprehensive electrical tests and testing of the ship automation.
Start of the Soyuz-2.1A carrier rocket with the piloted ship “Union MS-21” under the program of delivery of the participants of the 67th major expedition to the international space station is planned in March 2022.
