The presidency of French Polynesia has announced the closure of all schools on Friday.

Saturated soils of water
The Tahiti Islands, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea or Bora Bora suffer strong rains for a week and soils are saturated with water. Several houses were flooded Thursday in Tahiti.
Weather-France has raised rains of 260 l / m2 in the most affected municipalities. It also notes wind bursts up to 100 km / h and a strong sea with three meters hollows. Strong rains should continue “at least until Saturday morning”, according to weather-France.
This phenomenon does not affect the other four Polynesian archipelagos (Tuamotu, Gambier, Marquesas and Southern).
