To date, 11.8 million girls and women of Afghanistan need urgent humanitarian aid. This wrote about this in twitter UN Office for the coordination of humanitarian issues (UKHV).
In the UKHV expressed concern due to the violation of the rights of women who came to power in Afghanistan Taliban (members of the terrorist movement “Taliban” prohibited in the Russian Federation). “The basic rights of Afghan women and girls are under threat. Now they need our support and solidarity more than ever,” the report says.
It follows from it that humanitarian organizations should increase assistance to Afghan women and girls. First of all, they need food, health care, education, opportunities for livelihoods and protection services.
On December 23, it became known that the officials of the Taliban in the Mukur region, Gazni province, banned doctors to assist sick women, which instead of Mahrama (men relative) are accompanied by a female relative hospital.
