Sweet manufacturers warned about the rise in price of their products in Russia. We are talking about companies Mondelez, Ferrero, “United Confectioners”, “Barprom”, writing “Izvestia”.
According to the publication, Slavyanka also intends to revise the cost of products, but from January 17. Depending on the brand, manufacturers request different raises.
In the “faithful” stated that Mondelez is going to raise the prices of biscuits and cookies to 19 percent, to chocolate – up to 9 percent, and at chewing gum and lollipops – up to 6 percent. The lists of everything turned out to be more than 60 products: Dirol chewing, Halls candy, waffles, chocolate Milka and Alpen Gold, Barney Cookies, Cakes “Tuk”, Jubilee Cookies, Oreo and others.
As explained the supplier, the rise in price of goods once a year is a forced measure that will preserve product quality at the proper level. The trading network added that Ferrero is ready to raise prices an average of 6 percent on popular brands – Ferrero and Raffaello candy, goods under the Kinder brand, Nutella paste, total in more than 130 positions.
United Confectioners also declared an increase in purchasing prices up to 18 percent, said “correct.” There also stated that they are going to increase prices for wafer cakes, gingerbread, halva, waffles, marshmallows, weights candies, chocolate, in the list of almost 100 positions.
At the same time, “Barprom” intends to raise prices up to 23 percent per cakes and cakes. They added that the company “Slavyanka” declared an increase in the price tag for waffles and candy, only 60 positions – a maximum of 18 percent.
Earlier, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the peak of inflation in Russia was already passed, in 2022 the country will be able to solve problems. From 2022, he said, the budget policy is given in accordance with the “normal levels”.
