The construction of a new barrier on the border of Poland with Belarus can temporarily weaken the protection and provoke an attack of illegal immigrants sent by Belarusian security forces. This was stated by the head of the Bureau of the National Security of the Republic of Pavel Soloch on the air of Polish radio.
According to him, Minsk is ready to go to new provocations, so the official Warsaw should do everything possible to protect their citizens.
Poland’s authorities told about the plans to build a fence on the border with Belorussia in the fall of the 2021th, the construction want to complete in the first half of 2022. This project appeared after the exacerbation of the migration crisis at the border. After he began, Warsaw was the fence from barbed wire, which turned out to be a weak obstacle for migrants. Frightened by a new exacerbation, the Polish authorities decided to allocate about 1.615 billion zlotys ($ 414 million) to a new construction. Money will be fully received from the budget of the country.
