Incident reacted the mayor of Portland Ted Wieler. He stated that he was “disgusting that such an offensive content got into a training presentation for the police.” The township promised that on the fact of the occurrence there will be a thorough investigation.
“I am confident that the hardworking staff of the Portland Police Bureau, who saw this for the first time, are also outraged by the image and words on this slide and how he depicts members of our community and law enforcement officials,” he added.
