Jean-Jacques Bourdin at heart of an internal investigation of BFM-TV following filing of a complaint for “aggression

According to the complainant, the star journalist would have tried to kiss him by a professional displacement. The latter disputes the facts.

The Altice Media Group, owner of RMC and BFM-TV, announced Sunday 16 January the opening of an internal investigation after learning that its star journalist Jean-Jacques Bourdin was aimed at a complaint for “sexual assault” from a sister.

“Embrace repeatedly “force

The complainant, a former BFM-TV and RMC journalist, now 33, worked “for several years” with the 72-year-old interviewer at the morning of BFM-TV – RMC. She says he tried to sexually attack him on a professional trip in Corsica in 2013, according to the story made by the Parisian and confirmed by his lawyer, Laure Heinich.

At the regional daily, it also explains the reasons for his complaint, nearly ten years after the fact:

“I am no longer a young journalist afraid of losing my job and I know I did not have to suffer what I have suffered.”

Dismissed the morning RMC in summer 2020 after nineteen years of service, Jean-Jacques Bourdin leads his last season at the head of the political interview from 8 am on 30 radio and BFM-TV, the news channel of Altice Media group. It is the heart of the system set up by the chain for the presidential election.
