According to the complainant, the star journalist would have tried to kiss him by a professional displacement. The latter disputes the facts.

The Altice Media Group, owner of RMC and BFM-TV, announced Sunday 16 January the opening of an internal investigation after learning that its star journalist Jean-Jacques Bourdin was aimed at a complaint for “sexual assault” from a sister.
“We spoke with Jean-Jacques Bourdin, who vigorously challenged the facts denounced (…) for the sake of transparency, Altice Media makes an internal investigation diligently to ensure that no fact of this type n has been brought to the knowledge of the managers or colleagues of the interested (complainant and implicated), “said the group.
Altice Media Precise Follow “With the greatest attention the possible developments of this case” and will take “all the measures that might impose itself according to its evolution”.
“Embrace repeatedly “force
The complainant, a former BFM-TV and RMC journalist, now 33, worked “for several years” with the 72-year-old interviewer at the morning of BFM-TV – RMC. She says he tried to sexually attack him on a professional trip in Corsica in 2013, according to the story made by the Parisian and confirmed by his lawyer, Laure Heinich.
In the regional daily, she explains that she had hesitated hesitated to come to this trip, knowing that Mr. Bourdin would be present. She had finally accepted the invitation provided her being accompanied by her brother.
As it bathed a morning in the hotel’s pool, the star journalist would have “seized by the neck and tried to kiss him repeatedly” according to his statements to the police officers of the Commissioner of 16 sup> e arrondissement. Jean-Jacques Bourdin then allegedly sent “several months of insistent mails and SMS”, according to this story.
At the regional daily, it also explains the reasons for his complaint, nearly ten years after the fact:
“I am no longer a young journalist afraid of losing my job and I know I did not have to suffer what I have suffered.”
Dismissed the morning RMC in summer 2020 after nineteen years of service, Jean-Jacques Bourdin leads his last season at the head of the political interview from 8 am on 30 radio and BFM-TV, the news channel of Altice Media group. It is the heart of the system set up by the chain for the presidential election.
