The Chinese authorities have introduced a ban on the show on television of images of painted men, reports Moscow Komsomolets.
This is explained by the fact that the painted artists do not fit into the traditional idea of men. According to the publication, on television, it is also possible to show individuals who are failed to contradict “public order and morality.”
TV channels have obliged to establish beauty standards that will correspond to the moral values of the country’s residents. They also declared the need to focus on socialist and traditional Chinese culture instead of an entertainment segment and not demonstrate luxury. Employees are forbidden to pay too high salaries.
Earlier, the leader of the Communist Party of China Si Jinping forbade all broadcasting companies to avoid familiar men. The National Radio and Television Administration in turn said that Chinese companies should “decisively put an end to women-like men and other abnormal aesthetics.”
