A group of scientists of the Royal College in London called the extract of carnations with a relatively effective means of hangover. About it reports The Guardian.
Researchers led by a psychiatrist by Emmert Roberts (Emmert Roberts) studied the actions of 23 substances on groups of subjects. As a result, seven relatively effective drugs were isolated, the most effective of which were extract of cloves, crowdamic acid and pyritinol. At the same time, only the first is not a drug and is available in free sale. However, scientists admitted that the studied studies cannot be considered complete due to the small sample of patients and violations during testing. In particular, only men participated in eight studies, and no people over 65 people participated in any of them.
The most efficient means to protect themselves from the hangover Emmers called either abstinence from alcohol, or moderate use. At the same time, the doctor admitted that after the study he acquired a bottle of carnation extract.
Previously, experts called four ideal breakfast products with hangover: eggs, avocado, oats and bananas. They also advised in breaks between the use of alcoholic beverages to make pauses and drink a large amount of water.
