European security proposals in the region will be published over the next few weeks, said French President Emmanuel Macron while performing in the European Parliament. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Macron noted that the EU proposals in stability will be discussed within NATO, and only then become theme for future diplomatic discussions. “We must work out them between Europeans, divide them with our allies within NATO, and then offer them for negotiations with Russia,” said politician.
Macron publicly called the period of publishing proposals as an answer to the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov, in which the Russian diplomat accused the United States and NATO in the escalation of tensions in Europe. According to the deputy head, the parties have not yet provided Russia with specific written responses on its suggestions.
