Party member Alternative for Germany Sergey Heenka said that the German authorities are trying to “stay in both camps”, being addicted both from the United States and from Russia, so the rapprochement of Moscow and Berlin is inevitable. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“On the one hand, Germany depends on the USA in terms of safety and always wanted to strengthen its position in the West. On the other hand, it is highly dependent on Russia. Therefore, the mutual rapprochement is inevitable,” the politician noted.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held talks with his German counterpart Annaleno Berbock. Lavrov noted that the discussion from the Barb was useful, even despite a number of contradictions on some issues. He also found that Berlin and Moscow could move forward in the development of relationships.
