The deputy of the European Parliament from the ruling party of Poland “Law and Justice” by Joachim Burudzinsky on the air of Polish television accused the European Union (EU) in violation of the principles of democracy. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Politician stated that European officials would want to overthrow the Government of Poland with the help of fines. According to him, the European Commission (EC) and ERBUTATS consider themselves “big democrats”, but for them democracy is that all political parties can rule in the EU member states if they are parties of the Brussels Eastball. “If the total opposition failed to overthrow our government, illegal means are applied,” he said.
Brudzignan added that funds from fines that were imposed on Poland will not go to the budget of the Czech Republic with which Warsaw has a dispute about the functioning of the coal mine of the tours. He is confident that funds will be sent to the EC accounts.
“If the European Commission thus wants to fix his budget at the expense of Polish citizens, then there is a question, whether there is another European Union of Robert Schuman, Conrad Adenauer, or this is the European Union of France Timmermans and Ursula von der Lyainen,” he noted .
On October 27, the EU Court imposed a penalty in Poland in the amount of one million euros per day due to the refusal of Warsaw to abolish the disciplinary chamber of the Supreme Court. The EU considered that the action of this body undermines the independence of the judiciary in the Polish state.
On September 21, the EU demanded from Poland to pay 500 thousand euros every day for the refusal to close the coal mine “Tours.” Warsaw should make this amount to the official termination of the mine. According to the position of Brussels, the mine causes harm to the ecological system of neighboring Czech Republic.
