Russia in Industrial Production Index was ahead of the United States and China. This is stated in the analytical review of the Institute of Natural Monopolies (IPEM).
The index “IPEM-production” in 2021 took off by 9.6 percent (for December added 9.1 percent to the same month of 2020), and the index “IPEM-demand” – by 3.7 percent (plus 5 , 2 percent). Russian industrial indices turned out to be better in growth dynamics than China, Brazil, India, USA, Japan, and Germany india.
According to IPEM, oil production in 2021 increased by 2.1 percent to 523.6 million tons, but exports fell by 3.2 percent to 225 million tons. Export gas supplies grew by 3.2 percent. The demand for the products of the average technology industries also grew (for example, on black and non-ferrous metals).
“Comparison of the dynamics of industrial production indexes by countries of the world shows that the Russian industry has not only managed to avoid a deep failure during periods of maximum coronavirus restrictions, but also to reach a stable growth trajectory,” said IPEM Evgeny Rudakov, Deputy Head of Study Research Department.
Earlier, the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Alexander Kozlov said that the country was one of the richest states in the world of minerals.
