Power supply for all consumers in Kazakhstan has been restored. This is reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic.
It is noted that by 16:00 (13:00 MSK), the authorities managed to restore the power supply of all regions of the southern zone of Kazakhstan, affected by the mass failure.
The government added that the Kazakh side in parallel also assists in the elimination of the accident in Uzbekistan, where there is a phased commissioning of regional power plants.
On January 25, a mass failure was made in Central Asia, which deprived electricity Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. According to the Kazakhstan operator on the management of electrical networks KEGOC, the cause of the accident was the transit line overload, which occurred due to the fault of Uzbek and Kyrgyz power engineers.
At the same time, the financial analyst Mikhail Belyaev suggested that the turning off of electricity in the Central Asian republics could be associated with the actions of Chinese and Russian miners cryptocurrencies in these countries.
