“Today I do not see that NATO’s expansion stood on NATO’s agenda,” said the premier of the European country, mentioning Sweden and Finland. According to Stere, in the matter of membership of these countries in the Alliance there should be “Freedom of choice”.
“No one else can come from the outside and dictate your choice,” he stressed.
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linda spoke about the lack of Stockholm plans for joining NATO. According to her, right now the question of the possible accession to the North Atlantic Alliance is not on the agenda. At the same time, Linde recalled that now Sweden and Finland are the closest partners of NATO.
