Wrestlers of Russia at the European Union Vladimir Chizhov called on not to exaggerate the scale of new sanctions against the country, which can introduce the United States and the EU. He stated this on the air TV channel “Russia 24”.
Chizhov stated that it would not exaggerate the meaning of measures that may be. In his opinion, it is possible to assume the coverage of new restrictions against Russia, however, “it is not included in our habits.”
Postpred added that the “most sensible part of the Western and public opinion and political elite” adheres to the opinion that sanctions do not have an effective action because they do not reach the goal. He also warned the West on the effect of boomeranga when they were introduced and a complex position for their initiators.
“If we are talking about economic sanctions, then the effect of the boomeranga is sometimes very painful,” he stressed the chizhov.
