British epidemiologist, Professor Tim Spector told how the Omicron-strain of Coronavirus manifests itself in vaccinated patients. He wrote about this in the article for the conversation.
Spector called five oomikron symptoms in the grafted from COVID-19. According to him, the mutation of the virus causes symptoms similar to the cold. Among them is a runny nose, sneezing, fatigue, headache and sore throat.
The scientist noted that only half of patients with Omicron observed such common symptoms of the disease, as elevated temperatures, cough and no sense of smell.
“Omikron causes symptoms that are more like an ordinary cold, especially in people who were vaccinated, and less common system symptoms,” the epidemiologist stressed.
