According to the Office, from this amount, 54.6 billion tenge (125.1 million dollars) is damage to government agencies, and 82.2 billion tenge (188.4 million dollars) accounts for damage 1923 business facilities. The repair of buildings was rated at 28.8 billion tenge (66 million dollars), it is emphasized that this amount does not include the restoration of the residence of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev in Alma-Ata. The repair of the building will be managed by the Office of the President.
In a press release, it is noted that the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Kairbek Oslezbev reported on the preparation of a budget application for financing restoration work and compensation for damage from the government’s emergency reserve.
During the January riots in Kazakhstan, 351 property objects were injured, including 45 Governmental buildings and 306 commercial facilities.
