US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken promised to hold consultations with President Joe Biden and the leadership of Washington Allies on NATO. “After returning to Washington, a consulting meeting will be organized [according to the results of the negotiations] with President Biden, the Council of National Security, Congress, and our Allies,” said Blinken.
Earlier in Geneva, Lavrov and Blinken negotiations ended. The dialogue lasted only one and a half hours. Even before the start of the event, both diplomats said they did not expect from meeting any large breakthroughs in the current relations between Russia and the United States.
