In the report of the State Corporation, it is emphasized that this is possible in the case of signing an agreement between the State Corporation and the American Space Agency on the Cross-Flight Agreement on the ISS, according to which Russian woman Anna Kikina will become a member of the crew of the Crew Dragon spacecraft (USCV-5 mission), and Rubio will enter into The composition of the crew “Union MS-22”.
Roscosmos reminds that the launch of USCV-5 is scheduled for August, and the start of the “Union of MS-22” – for September. In case the cross-flight agreement is not signed, Kikin will go to space on the “Union of MS-22”.
State Corporation notes that in 2022 “For the first time in the history of the ISS project, the crew of the Union will include three Russian professional cosmonauts – Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov. Russians on the ISS should fly in March on the Soyuz Soyuz Soyuz-21 spacecraft.
