Total 15 percent of Russians never took a loan, while more than half of the respondents have active loans. This is evidenced by the data of the study of the Bank “Opening”, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the survey, 83 percent of Russians has a credit history: 52 percent of them have active loans, in the remaining 31 percent all loans are repaid. At the same time, only two percent of the respondents do not know what credit history is. 31 percent never checked his credit history, another 20 percent of Russians do it no more than once every two or three years, analysts emphasized. About 29 percent of respondents check the credit history no more than once a year, and every fifth Russian makes it several times a year.
The study was conducted from January 13 to 18 on a representative sample among one thousand Russians aged 18-65 years in cities with a population of more than 100 thousand people.
